The days are long in Paris, but the night starts early.
We walk and find everything within easy walking distance from our loft apartment above the restaurant and the Bear's Den. The lights are pretty, the trees adorn the streets and the people are out early.
There are cafes and eateries, chatting and laughing on corners, bikes and heels, Paris at its finest.
The air is thick with conversation and smoke. The lights show every daytime colour with more subtle hue.
The boys are out, the girls are out. We walk the avenues, head further afield. The girls and boys are out early. We turn back - a little out of place.
We choose a place to eat, and have a glass of wine. There is no bad food in Paris. There are no bad restaurants around here. Our one regret is that we cannot have a little taste of everything.
A Paris! Gay Paris. A very pretty place.
I'm glad you liked Paris :)
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean about the boys being out early. Richard is hard to pick amongst the other bears in the crowd. The way they are dressed, I'm wondering what sort of night they had planned. Did you get any sleep above the Bears' Den?
ReplyDeleteThey had the night planned alright. We closed the windows and slept quite well. Richard was very easy to pick out in the bear crowd - he got a few looks though.........
