A Day in London - to the Left

A second day in London.
Everything else we wanted to do was within walking distance but to the left of where we were yesterday. It was still many kilometres but every street was interesting, every skyline different.
Highlights were;

Fleet Street

The Tate Modern

The London Eye and London Bridge and The Tower of London all on the Thames

St Paul's Cathedral

We also saw Marble Arch and some classics like the London cabs and the red double deckers.
So much to do in one day. So much to take in. We will be living off London travel fat for a long time to come.

  1. Did you know that the nice looking bridge in your photos is actually Tower Bridge? London Bridge is a very boring looking concrete affair.

    Did you go in to the Tower of London? I was too stingy to do that.

  2. Yes - we did notice the boring concrete affair and decided to hold on to old images of Imperial and ancient London. We did free things in London only. Budget does not allow for much more. We walked everywhere, only using public transport (which was very good) where necessary.
