The countdown begins in earnest now - it is only 10 days to go. Check list of countdown tasks.
- collect cards from bank.
- check cords and chargers
- wipe out cupboards
- no more shopping and use what is in the freezer and fridge
- update travel insurance
- organise to hold mail
- write instruction notes for house-sitter
- thorough clean of aviary
- transfer money
- watch overseas news (e coli eek!)
- finish the mending
- email itinerary to family
- confirm accommodation

Any suggestions or advice? Anything I have forgotten for the 10 day mark?
