Wombarra

Wombarra is near Scarborough, south of Sydney, NSW.
It seems like the village has been skipped over. It is quiet and untouristed. There are a few people here today; a few families swimming in the pool, a few surfers up the beach and some divers snorkelling beyond the pool. Further down the road the beaches are crowded and very busy with eateries, coffee shops and cars. Here, we could be anywhere  in the world and half a century away.
The cloud spills over the mountain.
The playground is still.
The planes circle around our little picnic spot. We have front row seats.
